Dr. Sean Asselin is a Research Scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Dr. Asselin is specialized in plant breeding and the genetics of adaptation of Western Canadian native plant species. His focus is on developing genetically appropriate native plant genetic resources for forage production and landscape restoration in Western Canada, facing the challenges of native plant preservation, and production challenges in their integration into agricultural landscapes to enhance agro-ecosystem resiliency.
